It is 1613. Two men meet in a room above a Southwark pub
They have until the morning to complete the play they are writing together, but tiredness, failing memories, lost loves and drink are all getting in the way.
The two men are William Shakespeare and John Fletcher and the play is The Two Noble Kinsmen.
For All Time by Rick Thomas, asks questions about Shakespeare’s life, Fletcher’s domestic arrangements and which is the best pub in London.
What better way to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death than a play about creating a play - staged above a pub Shakespeare would have known.
Fletcher Productions, Fletcher in Rye CIC and The Rye Festival have joined forces to present Rick Thomas’ play with Southwark Playhouse.
